Privacy Policy

Shift Tracker (“the app”) helps locum tenens clinicians track income and tax deductions by logging worked shifts and reconciling them against pay stubs and bank deposits. This policy explains what information the app stores and, in particular, how it handles data accessed through your Google Account.

What we store

The app stores the information you enter or upload directly: shifts (dates, hours, facility, pay), pay periods, bank deposits, and pay documents (such as pay stubs) you choose to upload. This data is used solely to provide the app’s tracking and reconciliation features to you.

Google user data (Calendar access)

If you choose to connect a Google Calendar, the app requests read-only access to the calendar you select. Specifically:

  • We access event data (titles, start/end times) from the single calendar you choose to link — not your full Google Account.
  • That event data is used only to import and reconcile your work shift schedule inside the app.
  • We do not sell or share your Google user data with third parties. It is used exclusively to provide the app’s features back to you.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data retention

Your data — including any imported calendar-derived shift information — is kept for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your data (including calendar-derived data) is deleted.

Revoking calendar access

You can disconnect the app’s access to your Google Calendar at any time:

  • In the app: go to Settings → Calendar and disconnect the linked calendar.
  • In your Google Account: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove Shift Tracker’s access.
